Elements of the Urban Stack
This drawing critiques the implications of constructing a seawall in a seaport district amid the climate crisis. Through a dystopian lens, it envisions a future where such human-made barriers disrupt natural processes, intensifying flooding and ecological degradation. The work interrogates the role of short-sighted interventions in coastal resilience, advocating for adaptive, context-sensitive design approaches in the face of rising sea levels.
